Silverstone Isolation Component System Press Release
Grand Prix Audio introduces the Silverstone Isolation Component System featured on 6moons
"It's no secret that I admire the work of Alvin Lloyd at Grand Prix Audio. I owned two of his Monaco Modular stands and only passed them on when my new room in Switzerland enforced a layout that would not accommodate the considerable depth of the Monacos on the sidewall where the hifi equipment had to go."

2010 International CES
January 7-10, 2010
The Venetian – Room 30-233 / Room 30-210
This CES Grand Prix Audio featured our NEW Silverstone Isolation Component System. This room utilizing two of our new Silverstone Isolation
Component systems was considered by many as the one of the best sounding rooms at the show this year. The Silverstone Isolation Component
System, the Monaco Turntable, and the NEW Formula Platform Series (which is the first in the new line of Formula Platforms) significantly
contributed to the suburb sound. Our room was configured with Wilson Audio's Sasha W/P, Zanden Audio Systems components and the LP's were
cleaned by Keith Monks Audio Works new limited edition Ruby Record Cleaning Machine.
Jonathan Valin's Impression
For the finish I've saved the $27k Wilson Audio Sasha W/P multiway floorstander. Here's an instance where that theme of improvements was,
perhaps, as excitingly expressed as it was in the YG room. I hadn't been bowled over by the Sasha at RMAF, but in Vegas, driven superbly by
Zanden electronics and fed by an absolutely marvelous-sounding Grand Prix turntable, the Sasha was a top-rank Best of Show contender. Let
me, once again, consult my notes (well, memos to me—notes to you). Here are the very words I wrote: "Light, nimble, wonderful air and speed
and resolution. Fantastic sound!" And so it was on everything I played. I do not know, at this point, whom I will award Best of Show, too,
but the Sasha is definitely going to be in the hunt and if it doesn't win will certainly be a prime runner-up
Note: At RMAF the system did not feature the new Silverstone Isolation Component System or the Monaco Turntable.

Wilson Audio Specialties Inc. Selects Grand Prix Audio for Ongoing Product Development and Demonstrations
Utah's famous loudspeaker manufacturer Wilson Audio has selected Grand Prix Audio's Monaco Modular equipment isolation system from among competitors costing up to three times as much, to serve as their ongoing reference for development, auditions and demonstrations of its world-class loudspeaker systems. Wilson Audio's John Giolas oversaw a year of exhaustive comparisons whereby the Wilson Audio team evaluated a number of upper echelon equipment support solutions for use in their facility and at upcoming tradeshows. Grand Prix Audio's carbon-composite based, 6 degrees of freedom-enabled standard Monaco Modular system proved superior in every aspect to the competition..
We are very proud to be endorsed by as engineering-driven a company as Wilson Audio. At this level of excellence, cost is no object. While our systematic addresses at resonance isolation and vibration attenuation are admittedly not cheap, the fact that we objectively and subjectively -- measured and in the listening seat -- outperformed other solutions which were significantly more costly proves that while uncompromised quality does have its price, it needn't be as high as some would have you believe.
Please visit us at www.grandprixaudio.com to learn more about the Monaco Modular and our Monaco turntable which, like our isolation products, sets new standards for precision engineering, advanced composite material implementations and a truly comprehensive address of all critical aspects that are pertinent to ultimate performance. You'll discover that our results are firmly grounded in scientific principles and a rigorous reliance on sophisticated measurements, disciplines without which the dangerous sport of car racing from which our head designer Alvin Lloyd stems would be more dangerous yet. When winning matters, it's good to be on the winning time. Grand Prix Audio.

Chris Binns, Hi-Fi+, says of the Monaco Turntable
"My first impression was of neutrality the like of which I have rarely encountered from a turntable, and at times I had to remind myself that I was actually listening to a record
the soundstage had a dimensionality and presence that was awe inspiring in its realism

Antoine Gresland, haute fidelite, states "Of course, the Grand Prix Monaco Modular is not cheap,
but its performance is such that it dominates without effort all other rack systems we have tested
in recent years. In a high-end system, at the service of a system capable of realistic playback levels,
its a precious partner for getting the most out of your system, without falling into an analytical as
opposed to musical experience. The difference is such that one should consider the Monaco Modular
system as a key element of ones entire system, which leads us to announce without hesitation our
new reference."Read Full Review
